Police seek public help following indecent exposure incident in Letchworth

Officers aim to identify suspect in Norton Common case

Police in Letchworth are appealing for assistance from the public to locate a man involved in an indecent exposure incident at Norton Common.

The incident took place at 7am on Tuesday, 27th January, when a man reportedly exposed himself to a passerby.

Officers are currently looking for a suspect described as a white man of a large build with a distinctive run.

PC Daniel Fairbrother is urging the community to assist in establishing the details of the incident:

“We are trying to establish the circumstances of the incident and are appealing for the man described to contact us, as we believe he has information that could assist us."

Fairbrother reassured residents that proactive efforts are being made to identify the individual involved:

“I want to reassure the public that we are doing everything we can to identify the person involved. To date, we have not received any similar reports in this location, but I would urge anyone who has witnessed this type of activity to please contact us as soon as possible.”
