Five men sentenced for involvement in organised crime group in Buckinghamshire
Sentences total over fifteen years for drug trafficking and money laundering
Following an investigation by Thames Valley Police, five members of an organised crime group in South Buckinghamshire have been sentenced, receiving a combined total of fifteen years and five months' imprisonment.
The investigation focused on the group’s operation of drug lines across the High Wycombe area, involving the distribution of cocaine and cannabis, alongside the use of criminally derived funds for further illegal activities and fraud.
Oliver Namyslak, James Namyslak, Kamil Cole, Jammal Cole, and Zac Turner were arrested in connection with drug supply and money laundering operations based out of a milkshake shop in Flackwell Heath. Extensive searches at various addresses across High Wycombe and Slough led to the seizure of assets valued at £324,353, including cash, vehicles, and more.
Large quantities of drugs were also confiscated: 375.691g of cocaine, 1908.39g of cannabis, and 877 MDMA tablets, amounting to £63,490.
Zac Turner, aged 35, was given a suspended one-year sentence and ordered to complete unpaid work after pleading guilty to crimes including fraud by false representation.
Oliver Namyslak received seven years and 10 months' imprisonment for multiple charges, including facilitating and concealing criminal property.
James Namyslak was sentenced to three years and one month for cocaine-related offences and other charges.
Kamil Cole and Jammal Cole, both of no fixed abode, were granted suspended sentences and unpaid work requirements. Their pleas included drug possession with intent to supply.
Police executed a significant operation, with Detective Sergeant Joe Windsor commending the involved officers for their efforts. Windsor said:
“This investigation has led to a total of fifteen years and five months imprisonment for these five men, and is a big testament to the officers who worked hard in compiling years of evidence, to finally seek justice.”
Lead investigating officer, Detective Chief Inspector Jonathan Chandler, reinforced the importance of community intelligence in tackling drug-related crime.
Efforts to dismantle such organised crime groups, which perpetuate the distribution of illegal drugs, continue vigorously.
