The family of 17-year-old Luke Payne, who died after coming off his motorbike in Great Gaddesden, has shared a touching tribute to him.

Luke, a resident of Amersham, passed away on the afternoon of 16th January due to a collision in Gaddesden Row. He is survived by his mother Sandie, father Darren, and twin sister Lillie.

Through their tribute, Luke’s family expressed their admiration for his good nature and willingness to help others, describing him as polite and a gentleman.

They recalled his love for projects, whether for fixing devices or buying gifts for loved ones.

His family noted the significant support they have received in recent weeks, which highlights the impact Luke had in his short life.

His funeral is scheduled for 24th February at Chilterns Crematorium, followed by a celebration of life at The Black Horse in Rickmansworth.

Luke's family has requested privacy as they mourn their loss.
