Emergency services attend boatyard fire on A1 prompting road closures

Both carriageways of the A1 have been closed due to a fire at Kelpie Marine boatyard near Roxton.

Bedfordshire Police have confirmed the closures between the Black Cat Roundabout and Tempsford as crews address the incident, which began around 11:28 BST.

Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service is tackling the fire, which involves a boat and a shed situated between the two carriageways of the A1, near the River Great Ouse.
