Her debut album went to Number 3!

Perrie Edwards may have risen to fame in Little Mix, but she's certainly carved out her own path as a solo singer and songwriter. Releasing her debut eponymous album 'Perrie' in September 2025, fans have been loving her tracks so far!

After the birth of her second baby Alanis in January 2026, she's taking a well-deserved break right now. While we wait patiently for new music from her, let's take a deep dive into the music she's released so far...

'Forget About Us'

Perrie's debut solo single 'Forget About Us' was released on 12th April 2024 through her record label Columbia as the lead single from her debut album 'Perrie'. It was hugely popular with fans, who were thrilled to hear some solo music from Perrie, and it peaked at Number 10 in the UK charts as well as being certified Silver by the BPI.

Co-written by none other than songwriting genius Ed Sheeran, Perrie spoke to NME about working with the prolific songsmith, explaining that she'd asked whether she could "tweak little bits" of the song.

"I just want to tweak it lyrically," she added, continuing: "So that's it's more me, and it's more where I'm at in my life now. And I felt really strongly about the concept being in that direction, not that one and he was totally cool with it."

'Tears'

Perrie soon followed 'Forget About Us' up with 'Tears', releasing it on 21st June 2024. Although it didn't make the Top 40 in the UK, Perrie revealed in an interview with Official Charts that it helped her shape her sound for the whole album.

She said: "'Tears' actually came right at the start. I went to LA for two weeks to do a writing camp and, at the time, I didn't know what my sound was or who I was as a solo artist.

"I heard 'Tears' because the head of my label sent it to me. It was by Ido (Zmishlany), a producer in America and Feli (Ferraro), who's an incredible songwriter, and I just fell in love with the song. I loved the vibe of it. It felt really nostalgic and old school. Then, I went back to London and I wrote sisters for it on the album. It really inspired my album."

'You Go Your Way'

Her next single was 'You Go Your Way', released on 4th October 2024. Again, it didn't break into the Top 40 in the UK charts, and appeared on her album 'Perrie'.

She explained in an interview on the radio that the song was inspired by a conversation with her now-fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain when they'd just started dating. She explained that she'd felt an instant and strong connection with him, knowing that he was "The One" and describing it as "one of the happiest times of my life".

She said: "Then Little Mix were going on tour with Ariana Grande for like two and a half months and I was thinking 'this is a lot to put on somebody' and I didn't want to put it to him and be like, 'are you going to wait for me?'

"He was busy with Arsenal... so when we first got together I just thought I'm not going to the put the pressure on him, if you don't want to wait for me I appreciate that and if we're meant to be together we're going to happen anyways."

'Rollercoaster'

'Rollercoaster' was released on 14th February 2025 (Valentine's Day) in a quirky Instagram campaign by Perrie, who left it down to a fan vote between 'Rollercoaster' and 'Woman In Love' to decide which would come out next. Both tracks appeared on the 'Perrie' fan edition as digital bonus tracks.

'If He Wanted To He Would'

After a little break, Perrie returned to the scene on 22nd August 2025 with 'If He Wanted To He Would'. Although it didn't enter the UK Singles Chart's Top 40, it did peak at Number 2 on the Official Singles Chart Update. Co-written between Perrie and Nina Nesbitt, who has worked with Ed Sheeran, Perrie described the song's meaning in an interview with Rolling Stone.

She said: "This situation happens so often in life, but from my own experience I was in a relationship for a very long time and sometimes you're so in love with someone, you devote so much time and energy that you don’t always see the red flags. In my experience, nobody told me that at the time."

Perrie also utilised the song to announce her second pregnancy in September 2025. Sharing a clip of herself wearing a t-shirt reading: 'If he wanted to then he would...', before turning to reveal her baby bump and the back of the top reading: '..and he did.' Cute!

'Cute Aggression'

Another album track, 'Cute Aggression', was put out on 5th September 2025 as a surprise-release, coming out just a few hours after Perrie shared news of it on Instagram, adding that it was a "thank you" for all the "love" on her previous single, 'If He Wanted To He Would'.

'Miss You'

'Miss You' was the final album track from 'Perrie' to come out before the record itself, being released on 19th September 2025, a week before the album was put out on 26th September. She shared the song alongside the caption: 'I know you lot love, want and need a ballad,' giving fans a pretty good idea of what to expect from the track!

The beautiful track really does demonstrate Perrie's supremely impressive vocal abilities, and while it might not be as upbeat as the other songs, there's certainly a place for this slightly more serious performance from our Pez.
