The singer will be on tour this winter
'Mr Rock & Roll' singer Amy MacDonald has announced a huge UK tour, as part of a wider European tour, taking place later this year. Along with the tour announcement, Amy has also delighted fans with the announcement of her sixth album, due out this summer.
Ahead of the album's release on 11th July, Amy will perform two UK dates, at Neighbourhood Weekender in Warrington, on 24th May, followed by Isle of Wight Festival on 20th June. After that, the singer will perform at several festivals across Europe, before embarking on her UK tour, starting in London on 20th November.
The UK leg of her tour will conclude with a huge homecoming gig in Glasgow at the OVO Hydro.
As well as announcing her tour, Amy has revealed she will be releasing new music this summer, in the form of an album called 'Is This What You’ve Been Waiting For?'. Speaking about the album Amy said: "I feel very lucky to be in the place I am now. I’ve got this career, good friends, my family, and people still seem to want to hear my music, which is great. There’s a realness in me, something raw – honestly I’m winging it most of the time.”
