Jonas Brothers star sends warning to fans as he reveals skin cancer diagnosis

The Jonas Brothers star Kevin Jonas has sent out a warning to his millions of fans across the world, after he was recently diagnosed with skin cancer and forced to get a mole removed from his forehead.

Kevin, who is in the band with his brothers Joe and Nick, took to social media to confirm the shock news in a video, writing on Instagram: 'Friendly reminder to get your moles checked 🙏'.

In the video, Kevin says: "So today I am getting a basal-cell carcinoma removed from my head. Yes, that is an actual little skin cancer guy that has started to grow. And now I have to get surgery to remove it, so here we go."

Following the procedure, Kevin updated fans saying: "Alright, I'm done. Now it's time to heal. Heading home," before adding: "Make sure to get those moles checked, people."

After seeing the post, Kevin's fans and friends were quick to comment, with many praising the 'Sucker' singer for sharing his experiment are urging his fans to get checked.

One wrote: 'Thank God it was early detected 🙏🏽 You got me shaking! Get well soon lovey, praying for you 💗', with another adding: 'Oh Kevin, sending lots of love your way. So glad you were able to catch it so soon. Hope you recover fast ❤️'. (sic)

A third wrote: 'I’m glad you checked that mole in time. I love you and get well soon ❤️', with a fourth adding: 'Omg Kevin you scared me so much 😭😭😭 Love you, take care ❤️'. (sic)

Kevin, Nick and Joe have been on their World Tour since August last year, playing sold-out shows to their beloved fans.

Whilst the boys are now on a tour break, the shows will resume in August in Mexico City, before the Jonas Brothers head to the UK for shows in Belfast, Dublin, Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham and London in September.

The performances, which will unite four well-known performers, Samantha Mumba, Duncan James (Blue), Antony Costa (Blue) and Una Healy (The Saturdays), will include several shows starting in Croydon, in February 2027, and continuing until 11th April in Southampton.

James Blunt

Following the release of his sun-soaked single 'Tastes Like Summer', James Blunt announced a tour across the UK next year, and tickets are now on sale. The singer will be starting in Leeds on Friday 26th March, with dates across England, Scotland and Wales, ending the following month, on Thursday 8th April, in Brighton.

Chase & Status

Chase & Status have announced three UK dates starting at Manchester's Co-op Live on Friday 19th March 2027, continuing on to Birmingham's Utilita Arena, and finishing in London at The O2 Arena on Friday 2nd April 2027.

Gracie Abrams

Gracie Abrams has announced a huge tour with several UK dates in April and May 2027. The singer will be performing in Manchester, Glasgow and London.

David Guetta

In June 2027, fans will get the chance to see David Guetta's iconic Monolith show in London. The performance sees the French DJ perform in front of a huge illuminated monolith, showing visualisations bringing the performance to life on stage.
