Two Sheffield families rocked by tragedy aim to help their community 'recover'
Three coaches will be taking 160 people from Beighton to Cleethorpes for the day
The mum of a murdered Sheffield teenager tells us she wants to 'unite her community' - which's been 'rocked by tragedy'.
It's after 2 young people from the Mosborough area were killed last year.
Teenager Harvey Willgoose was stabbed to death on his lunch break last year - by another pupil who's now serving a life sentence in prison.
A few months later - 11-year-old-Elemie Wainwright - who also lived around Beighton - was killed in a tragic road accident.
Now - both families are coming together - & have arranged to take 160 people to Cleethorpes for the day today.
Harvey's mum - Caroline Willgoose - says young people there need a positive distraction:
"They melt my heart these kids, and they love being out and about.
"This is what it's all about; getting communities together and having fun.
"It's going to be an amazing day for the community.
"Elemie and Harvey are the ones who are taking us there, which is very powerful.
"Last year, this community lost Harvey and little Elemie - both in devastating circumstances.
"We will keep doing things like this in the community - it's worthwhile - we've got some t-shirts and flags - and we're taking Harvey and Elemie to the seaside with us all.
"I can't believe how excited the adults are in our community about this day trip.
"It's like going back to the good old days."
All the costs are being covered by the Harvey's Hub youth club initiative - with 3 coaches setting off to Cleethorpes at 9.30am.
