True North Brew Co. sells two South Yorkshire pubs amid "challenging period" for hospitality

Yorkshire brewer and pub owner True North Brew Co. has announced the sale of two of its venues in South Yorkshire.
The British Oak in Mosborough and The Old Grindstone in Crookes are now under new ownership amid what the company is calling "a challenging period for the hospitality industry."
In a statement, a spokesperson for the company wrote: "The hospitality sector continues to face some of the most challenging trading conditions in recent memory, with rising costs and ongoing economic pressures impacting operators across the industry."
"Against this backdrop, True North Brew Co. has taken a considered and proactive approach to protect the long-term health of the wider estate, focusing on preserving the strength of the core business while making carefully judged decisions where necessary."
The company runs a string of high profile venues in Sheffield and South Yorkshire, including the Abbeydale Ballroom and The Riverside in Kelham Island.
