Tributes paid to 'very loved' man who died in Sheffield crash

The family of a man who died after being hit by a lorry in Sheffield say he was “very loved” and will be missed by all who knew him.
William Smith, who was 63, was was struck on Manchester Road back on the 8th of November - and died at the scene.
At 12.11am on 8 November we were called to reports of a collision involving a white Iveco lorry and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, now named as 63-year-old William, suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
William’s family has shared a photograph and tribute to their loving father and grandfather.
It read: “William Smith was a very loved gentleman who would do anything for anyone and will be very much missed by his children, grandchildren and all his family and friends. WAWAW.”
Police are still investigating and are asking anyone with dash cam or CCTV to come forward.
