Three arrested following stabbing in Sheffield's Page Hall

Three men have been arrested following a stabbing on Firth Park Road in Page Hall yesterday.

The incident happened at 4.42 pm yesterday (May 19), leaving a 22-year-old man with serious injuries.

He was hospitalised and currently remains in a stable condition.

A 23-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assault, a 21-year-old on possession of a knife and breach of the Criminal Attempts Act, and a 50-year-old on suspicion of assault—all remain in police custody.

South Yorkshire Police Inspector Alec Gibbons said: “Yesterday, a man was stabbed in broad daylight and is now in hospital with serious injuries."

"This should not be happening in our communities, yet we are continuing to see the devastation that knife crime brings."
