Teenager in life threatening condition after Sheffield crash
A 16 year old boy is in a life threatening condition after a collision in Sheffield.
Police were called to Jordanthorpe last night - it's reported 2 cars were involved in a crash.
An 18 year old also suffered serious injuries.
A statement from South Yorkshire Police said:
"We are appealing for information, footage and witnesses following a collision in the Jordanthorpe area of Sheffield which has left a teenager with life-threatening injuries.
"We were called at 8.32pm last night (Monday 15 December) following a report of a two-vehicle collision on Jordanthorpe Parkway, near the roundabout where it meets Dyche Lane.
"It is reported that a silver Ibiza Seat and a black Nissan Qashqai were involved in a collision, with a 16-year-old boy, who was in the Seat, suffering life-threatening injuries.
"An 18-year-old man who was also in the Seat suffered serious injuries, with three other people suffering minor injuries.
"Officers attended the scene and closed the road to carry out further enquiries. Both vehicles have since been recovered and the road was reopened around 3am this morning (16 December).
"We are now appealing for anyone with information about this collision to get in touch with us."
