Reports suggest players & staff at Sheffield Wednesday could end up being paid late again
Players & staff have previously been paid late in both May & June this year
Things seem to be going from 'bad to worse' at Sheffield Wednesday football club.
Reports suggest the Owls players have been told they won't be paid their July wages on time.
It's led to speculation they could go on strike - the Labour MP for Sheffield South East is Clive Betts:
"Would you blame the players for taking action? I certainly wouldn't.
"Of course, some of the players are very well paid, but even then, they've got commitments and responsibilities.
"Why doesn't Dejphon Chansiri just sell up and get out!?"
Meanwhile, Reverend & the Makers front man Jon McClure has already bought his season ticket on the north stand for next season.
However, the club can't open it right now due to safety reasons:
"We currently don't know where we're going to be sat in 10-days-time when the season starts.
"If we get moved to the south, the issue will be that we'll have paid less than the people who've paid for tickets there.
"The whole thing is just rotten and it's a complete mess."
Owner Dejphon Chansiri is actively trying to sell the Championship club.
