Second man charged after Sheffield Christmas Day shooting
A 23 year old man is the latest to face charges over the incident

A second man has been charged in connection with a shooting in Sheffield on Christmas Day.
23 year old Samin Khan, of Basford Close in Darnall has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
Emergency services were called to Wilfred Drive on December 25 2025 after reports of a 20-year-old man being shot in the chest.
The victim was hospitalised and is in a critical condition.
Detective Chief Inspector Simon Cartwright, of South Yorkshire Police, said: “I want to highlight again just how much we appreciate the help and support of our local communities.
“We are always stronger when we work together and we are grateful for the information and intelligence provided by members of the public.”
This latest arrest follows charges brought against 23-year-old Raheel Mahmood, of Elmham Road, for attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life or allow another to do so.
Mahmood appeared before Sheffield Magistrates' Court on January 17 and has been remanded in custody ahead of his next appearance at Sheffield Crown Court on February 16.
Khan is due in court tomorrow.
