Sheffield Wednesday striker George Brown out long term after injury setback
The 20 year old is likely out for the remainder of the season
Young Sheffield Wednesday striker George Brown is likely out for the rest of the season with an ongoing hamstring injury.
The 20 year old is set to undergo further testing as club doctors try to come up with a treatment plan.
However he is now set for an extended period on the sidelines, having netted twice in seven Championship appearances.
Owls boss Henrik Pedesen said: “It’s so sad for George that he has this injury. He has worked so hard to come back and it’s so frustrating for him.
“He will be out for the last four games. We are waiting for the exact prognosis. It doesn’t matter how long, we will be there to help and support him.
“George is a top human and a top talent and we will do everything we can to help him.”
