Sheffield United fans 'want answers' around the future of the club
It's as speculation continues around a potential points deduction for the Championship side
Sheffield United supporters tell us they're 'concerned' by the lack of clarity over what's happening at Bramall Lane.
It's after a company owned by the co-owners was wound up at the High Court earlier this week.
Former owners United World claim they're still owed more than 35 million pounds from the Championship club's 2024 takeover.
Nick Wylie runs the Sheff United Way YouTube Channel:
"The £35 million pound debt is for the new owners to finish off paying for the club.
"That hasn't got too much to do with the general running of the club - but if they're not paying that money - the points deduction will come from the fact that they could be using that £35 million that they're not paying the former owner of the club - to actually run the club right now.
"We don't know who's going to run the club, whether we're going to be sold, whether we're going to go into administration in the future, whether we're going to be hit with a big points deduction or a transfer embargo.
"I don't think any of us really know what's going on right now, other than the current owners.
"I don't even think the former owner - Prince Abdullah - knows what is going on."
Ben Humphries runs the Travelling Blade YouTube Channel - He says the fans have lost faith in Steven Rosen and Helmy Eltoukhy:
"The fact that we don't hear much from these new owners anyway - it makes us lack trust in them, as we don't really know anything about them.
"We aren't expecting a weekly newsletter or anything.
"As soon as they got rid of Wilder before bringing him back - they sort of undermined themselves with that.
"So, they'd already lost a lot of trust within the fanbase, before this High Court case.
"Even if the players aren't bothered about it, it's still a distraction.
"If the ownership can't sort their house out with this basic admin, then you have to question their ability to financially back Sheffield United."
The EFL will now decide whether any ownership rules have been breached.
