Sheffield shooting: Bar owners release statement

A woman in her 30s was killed outside One Four One on West Street on Monday

The owners of a Sheffield bar say they're working with South Yorkshire Police following a fatal shooting outside the venue.

A 30 year old woman was killed outside One Four One on West Street on Monday (25 May 2026).

In a statement, the club say they're deeply saddened by what happened.

In addition, they add they're cooperating fully with detectives with their enquiries.

The statement in full:

'We are deeply saddened by the tragic incident that took place in the early hours of Monday morning outside our venue.

'Our thoughts and condolences are with the victim’s family, friends, and everyone affected by this devastating event.

'Out of respect for the victim and their loved ones, and due to the fact there is an active ongoing police investigation, we will not be making any further public comment at this time.

'We are assisting and cooperating fully with South Yorkshire Police with their enquiries. Anyone with information, dashcam footage, photos or videos relating to the incident is encouraged to contact South Yorkshire Police directly, quoting the relevant incident number.(135 of 25th May 2026)

'Should it be appropriate to do so at a later stage, and once advised by the police that we are able to comment further, we will provide an additional statement.

'Thank you for your understanding.

'Our hearts are with the young woman who lost her life, and with all those grieving this unimaginable loss.'
