Man charged after rats released near Sheffield Grand Mosque
The 66 year old is charged with four offences, after rodents were released on four separate occasions
A Sheffield man has been charged after rats were released close to the city's Grand Mosque on four separate occasions.
Edmund Fowler, 66, of the Grimesthorpe area, is due before Sheffield Magistrates' Court today charged with four counts of causing racially or religiously aggravated intentional harassment, alarm or distress.
It follows alleged incidents on May 3 and 26 and June 7 and 23 where rodents were seen being released close to the building.
Fowler has been remanded into custody.
