Sheffield man jailed for shoplifting and drugs offences

He'll spend five months behind bars

A Sheffield man has been handed a five month prison sentence for shoplifting and drugs offences.

Luke Thistlethwaite, 43, of no fixed abode, was arrested after causing ÂŁ500 worth of damage to a premises in Sheffield City Centre.

He also stole several items from H&M and The Card Factory on The Moor, worth around ÂŁ340.

He was also found to be in possession of pregabalin and spice.

Thistlethwaite was charged with shoplifting, burglary, criminal damage, possession of Class C drugs, and possession of Class B drugs.
