89 year old woman in 'life threatening' condition after being hit by car in Sheffield
Police were called to Stannington Road earlier today
An 89 year old woman is in a life threatening condition in hospital after being hit by a car in Sheffield earlier today.
Police were called at 9:49am to Stannington Road, after a collision involving the pedestrian and a silver Nissan Micra.
She remains in hospital, with her family being supported by police.
Stannington Road has now reopened after a closure between The Anvil pub and the Lidl supermarket.
Anyone with information about the crash is being urged to contact South Yorkshire Police on 101.
