Police appeal after woman sexually assaulted by two men in balaclavas in Rotherham

Police are appealing for witnesses following a sexual assault where a woman was grabbed by two men in balaclavas in Rotherham.

The incident took place at around 11pm on Tuesday (January 13) in an alleyway off Greenfield Gardens, Flanderwell.

Two men, who were wearing face coverings, assaulted the woman in the alleyway. She managed to escape and report the attack.

One of the men is described as around 6ft tall, of medium build, and wearing grey trousers.

The second man is described as roughly 5ft 6ins tall, of skinny build, and wearing black clothing.

Investigations are ongoing, and police are now asking for anyone with information or who may have witnessed suspicious behaviour in the Greenfield Gardens area to come forward.
