Serious collision on Halifax Road in Sheffield

We are being urged to avoid Halifax Road in Sheffield this morning after a collision.

A Police statement said: "Please be aware that a road closure is in place on Halifax Rd junction with Kilner Way and Avisford Rd, Sheffield due to a road traffic collision.

"We are advising people to avoid the area and plan an alternative route if possible."
