A fire at a former working men's club in Rotherham is being investigated as a suspected arson.

Flames gutted the former Swinton Working Men's Club on Station Street at around 4pm yesterday (August 23).

Crews from Dearne, Rotherham, Edlington, Elm Lane, Maltby, Stocksbridge and Parkway dealt with the fire, leaving the scene around 9pm.
