Roads affected after burst pipe in Sheffield

Some problems in the centre of Sheffield overnight.

A huge water leak around Eyre Street, Cumberland Street and The Moor due to a burst main yesterday - which affected water supply to parts of the city.

We are hearing some places have got their water back on.

Yorkshire Water say they have been working to fix it.

MP Louise Haigh said: "I'm aware of reports of no water in the S2 and S8 areas of the constituency.

"This has been reported to Yorkshire Water and they are working to fix the fault.

"I have also been in contact with them as a matter of urgency to find out what support they are offering the elderly, vulnerable and those with families this evening."
