Police appeal after fatal Rotherham crash
A 28-year-old woman was killed after being hit by a grey Mercedes Vito

Police are appealing for witnesses, footage and information following a fatal collision in Rotherham.
It happened yesterday (26 September) at around 11:48am on Blyth Road in Maltby.
A pedestrian, a 28-year-old woman, was hit by a grey Mercedes Vito van as she crossed the road.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, the woman was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Her family has been informed and is being supported by family liaison officers.
The driver of the Mercedes remained at the scene and has been assisting officers with their inquiry.
Anyone who witnessed the collision and has not yet spoken to officers is urged to come forward and speak to South Yorkshire Police.
