Police are appealing for dashcam footage after a fatal road crash involving two cars in Pleasley over the weekend.

It happened at around 9.50pm on Saturday (February 28) when a black BMW 3 Series M Sport collided with a black Audi A3 on the A617, near the Junction 29 exit.

The driver of the BMW, a 33-year-old man, was taken to hospital with head injuries and died shortly afterward.

His family has been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers.

The occupants of the Audi—a 32-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man—suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers are now urging anyone with information - particularly footage of the BMW taken before the crash - to get in touch on 101.
