'Incredibly proud': Barnsley FC midfielder Patrick Kelly called up for Northern Ireland
It's the first time the 21 year old has been called on by his country
Bosses at Barnsley FC say they're 'incredibly proud' of midfielder Patrick Kelly, after he was handed his first senior call up for Northern Ireland.
The 21 year old will be available for two World Cup Qualifiers later this month.
Michael O'Neill's side travel to Slovakia on November 14, before returning home to face Luxembourg on Monday 17th.
Portstewart born Kelly began his career at Coleraine before a move to West Ham in 2022.
He first came to South Yorkshire as a loanee at Doncaster Rovers, before making a permanent move to Rovers' League One rivals earlier this year.
He has previously played internationally for Northern Ireland in youth competitions.
