University of Sheffield awards honorary degrees to Martin Lewis and Dame Sarah Storey
The Money Saving Expert and the successful Paralympian are both being honoured this week

The University of Sheffield is recognising Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis and Paralympian Dame Sarah Storey with honorary degrees this week.
Acclaimed consumer expert Lewis was be made an Honorary Doctor of Letters today for his impact on financial education and consumer advocacy.
He is best known as the founder of Money Saving Expert, the country’s largest consumer finance website.
He is also a campaigning journalist and media personality, who has led successful campaigns for financial justice that have resulted in policy changes.
Dame Sarah Storey, renowned as Team GB's most successful Paralympian, collected her honorary degree on Monday (January 12).
Dame Sarah has achieved unparalleled success in her career, earning 19 gold, eight silver, and three bronze medals across swimming and cycling at nine Paralympic Games.
She has also claimed 45 world titles, broken multiple world records, and solidified her legacy in sport.
The University of Sheffield is celebrating both alongside the success of hundreds of students, who are collecting their degrees during graduation week this week.
