Three injured and one arrested after serious M18 crash near Doncaster

Three people have been injured, two seriously, after a crash on the M18 near to Doncaster.
The collision, involving a white and blue DAF lorry, a red MG car, and a grey Ford Kuga, happened at around 5:35pm as all three vehicles were on approach to junction 3, having already passed junction 4.
A 68-year-old man and a 64-year-old woman in the MG are in hospital in a life threatening condition.
A 56-year-old man in the grey Ford suffered minor injuries.
The driver of the HGV, a 46 year old man, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drug driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
He has since been bailed.
The stretch of road was closed for the rest of the day following the crash, finally reopening at 1am this morning.
