Four more arrested in connection with Sheffield murder of Kassim Mohammed

Four more people have been arrested with the datal shooting of Kassim Mohammed in Sheffield last year.

32 year old Kassim was attacked on Watery Street on September 30 2025 and died from his injuries.

The arrests made include three women aged 24, 26, and 30, and a 49-year-old man, all on suspicion of assisting offenders.

They have been bailed pending further inquiries.

A total of 15 arrests have been made so far in connection with the killing of Kassim.

Three men (aged 18, 21, and 35) have been questioned on suspicion of murder, a 29-year-old on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder, and a 26-year-old woman and 29-year-old man on suspicion of assisting an offender.

All remain out on bail. Four other men and a 31 year old woman have been released with no further action taken.

Detective Chief Inspector Andy Knowles of South Yorkshire Police said: "We will continue to seek answers and justice for Kassim's loved ones, and our thoughts remain with them during this extremely difficult time."
