Firefighters deal with large blaze at house in Sheffield overnight
Firefighters have dealt with a large blaze at a house on Musgrave Road in Sheffield overnight.
Crews were called out just after half past two this morning, with five fire engines and a turntable ladder sent to tackle the flames.
Smoke spread to neighbouring homes, but luckily no one is thought to have been hurt.
An investigation into what caused the fire is due to take place later today.
A statement from the fire service said: "Firefighters have tackled a large fire at a house on Musgrave Road in Sheffield overnight.
"We were called to the incident at around 2.30am, with 5 fire engines and a turntable ladder in attendance at the height of the fire.
"The fire involved an upper floor of the house, with smoke also spreading to neighbouring properties.
"Fortunately, no one is thought to have been injured.
"Firefighters came away from the scene at around 5am.
"An investigation into the cause of the fire will take place later today."
