Sheffield Eagles have announced the signing of forward Jimmy Beckett on a one-month loan deal from Castleford Tigers.

The 26-year-old, who joined Castleford earlier this season, has played three games in the Super League, featuring against Toulouse Olympique, Warrington Wolves, and Bradford Bulls.

Beckett comes to Eagles following a loan spell with Championship side Goole, where he took part in their 32–14 defeat at home to Newcastle Thunder on Good Friday.

He previously spent the 2025 season with Featherstone Rovers and has also played for Keighley Cougars, Oldham RLFC, and Dewsbury Rams.

He will join Craig Lingard’s squad immediately ahead of Saturday's match against London Broncos.
