Two more men charged over Doncaster shootings
A man was seriously injured in one of two shootings which happened on May 18
Two men have been charged in connection with two shootings in Doncaster in May.
The first incident happened at 12.08am on May 18 where a property on Amersall Crescent, Scawthorpe, was shot at.
Later that day, at 6.22pm, a shooting on South Street, Highfields, left a man with serious injuries.
Thomas Wilson, 35 and of HMP Doncaster, is charged with attempted murder and two counts of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
Simon Davies, 48, of Arthur Street in Doncaster, faces charges of possession of a firearm and assisting an offender.
Both men appeared at Doncaster Magistrates' Court today (June 19).
Wilson has been remanded into custody, ahead of a court appearance at Sheffield Crown Court on July 17.
Davies is set for a bail hearing at Sheffield Crown Court on June 22.
Additionally, two other men aged 22 and 39, along with a 33-year-old woman, have been charged in connection with the incident and remain in custody ahead of their upcoming court appearances.
