Doncaster hit and run murder victim named as family pay tribute

A man who was hit by a car and killed in Doncaster on Friday night has been named as Najib Maghsodi, who was 26 years old.
Najib was fatally injured on Prince's Street at 8:32pm, despite the efforts of paramedics at the scene.
A silver Hyundai involved in the crash left the scene. Today, 31 year old Stefan Wheeler of Northgate, has been before Doncaster Crown Court charged with murder in the case.
A 22 year old man is still being held on suspicion of murder, while six other people have been released on bail.
In a tribute, Najib’s family wrote: “Najib was taken from us far too soon. He was the most amazing, kind, and beautiful husband, son, and soon to be dad.
“We are beyond words and the pain is indescribable.”
