Police are appealing for information after a ram raid at the Co-op store in a Doncaster village.

The incident happened at around 2am yesterday (January 12), when a vehicle was reportedly driven into the Co-op on Great North Road in Woodlands.

The occupants then stole a cash machine before driving away in convoy with a second vehicle.

The cash machine and the vehicle used in the initial ramming were found a short distance away.

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing, and detectives are urging anyone who may have seen or heard anything, or has dashcam footage, to come forward.
