Investigation underway after driver found stabbed in Doncaster
St James's Bridge has been closed - as part of the investigation
Police have closed a bridge in Hexthorpe, Doncaster, after a driver was found with suspected stab wounds this morning.
Officers were called to a single vehicle crash on St James's Bridge at around 5:30am this morning.
The driver of the vehicle suffered serious injuries thought to have been caused by a blade. He remains in hospital in a serious condition.
It's believed the man was injured at a nearby home. A 20 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and remains in custody.
