A convicted South Yorkshire child groomer will now face sentencing after he was arrested in Switzerland and extradited back to the UK.

21 year old Sharam Muhamadi went on the run ahead of his sentencing in June.

He was convicted of grooming children online, with the young people being lured into the hands of his co-conspirator 28 year old Bawan Hawre.

Hawre has already been jailed for 29 years for child sexual offences.

Sheffield Crown Court heard how Hawre and Muhamadi both worked in corner shops in Doncaster and had previously lived together in Hexthorpe.

Muhamadi remains in custody and will be sentenced on September 3.
