17 year old dies after car hits tree near Chesterfield
A 19 year old man has been arrested following the collision

A 17 year old girl has died after a car hit a tree in Sutton Scarsdale, close to Chesterfield, yesterday.
The collision happened at around 11pm last night on Sutton Lane, with a Vauxhall Corsa being the only vehicle involved.
The 17 year old, who was a passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other passengers suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and are currently in hospital.
The driver, a 19-year-old man, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
He remains in police custody.
