Chesterfield FC have signed midfielder George McEachran from League Two rivals Grimsby Town.
The 25 year old, who started his career at Chelsea, has penned a deal lasting until the summer of 2028.
McEachran has made 92 appearances across his two years with Grimsby and is also a former England youth international.
Speaking to the Chesterfield FC website, McEachran said: “I was buzzing when I heard from my agent that Chesterfield were interested, so I can’t wait to get started."
"Having come up against them during my time at Grimsby, I always found them a difficult side to play against, but it suits my style of play, so I think Chesterfield will suit me well.
“I am looking forward to going to the Erwin training ground every day because the facilities are good and so are the training pitches, so I’m excited to be here.”
