Chesterfield sign Manchester City forward Will Dickson on permanent deal after he impressed on loan

He's penned a deal lasting until the summer of 2027

Chesterfield FC have signed Manchester City's Will Dickson on a permanent contract, after the forward impression on loan with the Spireites.

The 21 year old has made 18 appearances in all competitions for Chesterfield, both up front and in midfield.

He scored during the 4-1 home win over Newport in September.

Reacting to the news, coach Gary Roberts said: “Will is 21 years of age and we feel he can develop into a player, who will be really strong for this club."

“He’s had a good base coming through Manchester City. We feel he’s got good scope in him to go even better.”

Elsewhere loanee Ronan Darcy has been recalled by parent club Wigan.
