A man has been charged with four counts of rape after two women were attacked in separate incidents in Chesterfield.

The first is alleged to have happened in Queen's Park in Chesterfield on June 18 2023, with the victim reporting the offence to police in March.

A woman in her 20s then reported being attacked in Infirmary Road, near Chesterfield College, in the early hours of August 8 this year.

24 year old Dylan Hall, of Park Road, was arrested earlier this week and has now been charged with three counts of rape in connection with the 2023 incident and one over the incident last week.

He has appeared before Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court and remanded into custody.
