Chesterfield man writing poems about Parkinsons diagnosis
A Chesterfield man says being diagnosed with Parkinson's led him to write about living with the condition.
73-year-old Zack who from Eckington was told he had the condition back in 2010.
He has now published a series of poems about life with the condition.
Speaking about his experience of being active and finding a passion for writing, Zack said:
“Being active has become paramount to my overall wellbeing and writing poetry has become a very important aspect of my life. This has only arisen in recent years and I find this particularly satisfying.
“The creative gene in my brain inspires me to write poems about everyday life, including sport, which I’ve always loved.”
