Chesterfield FC sign Millwall midfielder Rafiq Lamptey on season-long loan
The 19 year old has already played a pre-season game with the Spireites

Chesterfield FC have confirmed the signing of Millwall midfielder Rafiq Lamptey, on a season long loan deal.
The 19 year old has already played for the Spireites in a pre-season fixture and has now agreed a more long term stay in North Derbyshire.
He made one senior appearance for the Lions last season, providing an assist an an FA Cup fixture.
Speaking to the Chesterfield FC website, Lamptey said: “It feels good to be here. I’ve been speaking to the gaffer for about a week now and obviously I travelled to Dublin to see how everything is (within the squad).
“The boys have welcomed me well, I’ve spoken to the gaffer and the coaches and they’ve all welcomed me well. I even spoke to the owners; It was a really good conversation and it made me feel part of the club.
“When I spoke to him, instantly I knew that I wanted to be at this club.”
