Police have launched an appeal to trace a cyclist seen in the area of a fatal crash in Cantley, near Doncaster, last month.

Officers were called to Bawtry Road at 11:30pm on June 21st after reports of a white Vauxhall Astra GTC hitting a pedestrian.

A 55 year old man was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 31 year old man was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop and death by dangerous driving.

After trawling CCTV officers have now released pictures of a cyclist seen in the area of Bawtry Road at the time who may have key information about the case.

Officers are urging the person to get in touch on 101.
