Man suffers 'life threatening injuries' after being hit by bus in Barnsley

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a pedestrian was left with life threatening injuries after being hit by a bus in Barnsley.
Emergency services were called to the incident on Pontefract Road, at the junction of Lambra Road, at 12.33pm.
The man in his 50s suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital, where he remains.
Officers are particularly eager to speak with the driver of a black Vauxhall Mokka believed to have witnessed the crash before leaving the scene.
Witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police, as well as those with CCTV or dashcam footage of the incident or the moments leading up to it, are urged to come forward on 101.
