Sheffield United women's head coach Ash Thompson has left the club several weeks after being suspended from his role.
The former Blades under 21s boss only stepped into the role ahead of last season but, according to a statement on the United website; "both parties agreed that this was the right time for a change of leadership."
The reason for Thompson's suspension wasn't made clear.
Sheffield United's women's team were facing relegation at the end of last season but kept their place in the Super League 2 after Blackburn Rovers withdrew.
