South Yorkshire boxer Callum Simpson will aim to make history in his hometown tonight.

The Super Middleweight boxer is taking on Ivan Zucco at Oakwell - with a European title at stake.

28-year-old Simpson - who's from Barnsley - believes he'll get the win in front of around 15,000 fans:

"I'm going to be lifting that European title.

"Doing it in my hometown will be special - I'm Barnsley born and bred.

"I'm going to be the first Barnsley fighter to win a European title.

"It's amazing to be able to come back to Barnsley again 10 months after my last appearance at Oakwell.

"This time, it's going to be bigger and better, with a more prestigious title on the line."

He previously won at Oakwell last year in front of 7,000 supporters to win the British & Commonwealth titles.
