Barnsley man wanted on recall to prison and in connection with burglaries

Police have launched an appeal to find a Barnsley man wanted on recall to prison and in connection with a string of burglaries.

38 year old Shane Walker is being sought in connection with break ins in Rotherham, Doncaster and Barnsley.

He is know to frequent the Dearne areas of Barnsley, especially Bolton-upon-Dearne.

He is described as white, of a stocky build, around 5ft 7ins tall, with a bald head and brown facial hair.

Anyone who sees him is being urged not to approach but to dial 999. Those with information can contact police on 101.
