Appeal launched after puppies found dead in plastic bags in Barnsley

Police have launched an appeal for information after three puppies were found dead in plastic bags in Barnsley.

The grim discovery was made at 8:30pm on March 16 on the A616 in Wortley.

It's believed the dogs were left in a layby overnight.

The puppies are ‘blonde’ in colour and the bags have been sent off for forensic testing.
