18-year-old dies after collision in Matlock Bath

An 18 year old has died after a collision in Matlock Bath.
Alfie Stocks was riding a motorcycle when he suffered serious injuries in a crash with a car.
He was taken to hospital but died days later.
A 21 year old woman from Chesterfield was interviewed under caution and has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
Derbyshire Police said: "A motorcyclist has been named following a fatal collision in Matlock Bath.
"The incident occurred at 10.05pm on 11 August at the junction of the A6 and Temple Road – which leads to Gulliver’s Kingdom.
"Alfie Ajai Stocks was riding a red Aprilia RX 125 motorcycle, which was travelling from Cromford towards Matlock, when he suffered serious injuries in a collision with the black Audi A1, which was travelling in the opposite direction and was turning into Temple Road.
"The 18-year-old, who was from Matlock, was taken to hospital with serious injuries however he died at hospital on 16 August.
"The driver of the Audi, a 21-year-old woman from Chesterfield, attended a voluntary interview on 12 August, prior to Mr Stocks’ death, where she was interviewed under caution on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and has been released under investigation while enquiries continue."
